By downloading, installing, or using LacPointer ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
LacPointer is provided by CODINGSPACE LTD (trading as Lac AI), RC: 7351878, registered at No. 88, Leha Street Karu, Abuja, FCT, Nigeria ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms govern your use of our desktop application and related services.
LacPointer is an AI-powered desktop assistant for macOS and Windows that allows you to:
Account Creation: You must create an account to use LacPointer. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
Account Security: You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Account Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.
Free Plan: 4,000 tokens every 15 hours with standard AI features and up to 3 API keys.
Pro Plan ($15/month): Unlimited tokens, up to 10 API keys, priority support, and early access to new features.
Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Paddle. You may cancel at any time — your subscription stays active until the end of the billing period.
Refunds: We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Contact support@lacai.io.
You agree NOT to use LacPointer to:
Ownership: You retain all rights to the content you create using LacPointer.
License to Process: By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide AI services to you.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you capture and analyze. We are not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated responses.
Accuracy: AI responses are provided "as is" and may contain errors. Always verify critical information.
No Professional Advice: LacPointer does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Improvements: We continuously improve our AI models. Response quality and features may change over time.
Storage: Data is stored securely on our servers to provide cross-device access and conversation continuity.
Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard measures.
Retention: Your data is retained while your account is active. You may delete conversations or your entire account at any time.
LacPointer, including its design, code, logo, and branding, is owned by CODINGSPACE LTD and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the application without explicit written permission.
macOS: Supported with full functionality. Requires screen recording and accessibility permissions.
Windows: Supported via UI Automation API. Requires screen capture permissions.
No Warranty: LacPointer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Service Availability: We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, CODINGSPACE LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the App.
We may modify features or these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
By You: Stop using LacPointer and delete your account at any time from the dashboard.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, illegal activity, or abuse of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, where CODINGSPACE LTD is registered. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
