This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the LacPointer desktop application and related services.
Payment processing is handled by Paddle. We do not store your credit card details — only confirmation of payment and subscription status.
How AI Works: Your prompts and screenshots are processed by AI models (OpenAI GPT-4) in real-time to generate responses.
No Training on Your Data: We do not train AI models on your personal data, conversations, screenshots, or information from connected services.
Integrated Services: Data from Google Calendar, Notion, GitHub, and Slack is used exclusively to provide the features you see in LacPointer — never for AI training, advertising, or unrelated purposes.
Third-Party AI: OpenAI processes requests in real-time but does not store or train on your data per their standard API terms.
Storage: Your data is stored on secure cloud servers to enable cross-device access and conversation continuity.
Protection: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
Retention: Data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

LacPointer's use of Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar data is used solely to provide calendar features within LacPointer.
Notion data is accessed solely to provide task and page management features within LacPointer.
GitHub data is accessed solely to provide repository and issue management features within LacPointer.
Important: Data from all connected services is never used for AI training, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the feature you requested.
Access: View all your conversation history through the dashboard at lacai.io/dashboard.
Delete: Delete individual conversations or your entire account at any time. Deletion is permanent.
Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting support@lacai.io.
Regional Rights: If you're in the EU, UK, California, or other jurisdictions with privacy laws, you have additional rights including data portability and the right to object to certain uses.
Desktop App: Does not use cookies. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device.

LacPointer is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.
